LIGHTING PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT/UL ENGINEER

Design and development of new fixtures

Production Quality Control

Inspection of manufactured fixtures

Coordination of UL requirements with production

Improvement of existing product line
The ability to set up a UL lab and run tests is a plus. This would require working with UL to ensure that in-house testing is being conducted in accordance with all applicable testing standards. Would require working with UL and in-house test lab to maintain UL Witness Test Data Program status. Successful candidate would coordinate with Engineering and Product Development teams to develop, analyze and establish the requirements, specifications, procedures and other engineering documents necessary to obtain product listing through UL and other testing organizations. The ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in the lab as well as problems in the field

We offer a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience. Minimum 2 years experience. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is a plus.

REGIONAL/NATIONAL SALES MANAGERS
Established national lighting manufacturer in Los Angeles has excellent opportunity for qualified Regional/National Sales Managers.
We are looking for an energetic, highly-motivated sales professional who strives for consistent growth and builds loyal relationships.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Increase bottom line sales and profit
- Gain and increase market share
- Introduce new products into the market place
- Reposition mature products into new markets
- Lead and direct the activities of regional managers, agents, and distributors
- Manage catalogs and other advertising and marketing material productions
- Manage the sales agencies, organize, hire, and train sales reps and company sales force
- Set up and attend trade shows and sales meetings
- Call on key distributors, contractors, and national accounts
- Create and facilitate campaigns and promotional projects for the department to meet revenue goals
- Establish and meet sales quotas
- Develop and implement sales strategies; review and report sales activities and make recommendations to company CEO
This position requires extensive traveling to all the territories on a regular basis, and requires your presence at the corporate offices when not traveling.
Minimum 5 years sales experience in the lighting industry.
Benefit package & competitive pay commensurate with experience. Knowledge of commercial and residential lighting a must. Knowledge of electrical industry preferred. Marketing experience a plus. Must have excellent communication, writing and phone skills.
